Still working the same pattern I had a pretty good day out there. The bites were pretty aggressive still and I just
had to put the bait in front of them. With the water dropping and surface temps being cold you can tell the fish
are moving into full blown winter mode and time might be running out. I'm thinking next week will probably be
slower, or I'll need to work slower to get bit.
Not sure how much longer this bite will go on but finishing the day with 8 fish is going to be tough to match as the
water temp lowers. This lake has really been good to me. A few times during the day I scoped out places for
different times in the year. Shallow flats with deep water access, runoffs, ledges, all these places could hold the
next seasonal batch of fish. Heck, even a trout found its way onto the tube. What a day!
